We all know a Bride and Groom who will be difficult to buy a gift for because he had his own apartment . . and she had her own home and now they had two toasters, four pillows, six sets of towels in various colors, and lots of silverware.

Here’s some ideas . .

A donation to their favorite charity
Anything with the Bride’s new initials (writing paper or note cards) or their new monogram (a silver bowl or glassware)

Plant a tree in a local park or a city park in honor of their wedding. Contact your local “Parks and Recreation Department” for more information.

Luxurious bed linens
A gourmet cookbook or a cooking lesson at a culinary school

A mantle clock

Small art object that will coordinate with their home décor

A weekend away

Two beach chairs and two great new books

Dinner for two at a restaurant that they have never been to before

A basket of wines . . cheeses . . and wine glasses

Tickets to see one of their favorite musicians or singer

Overnight lodging and dinner on New Year’s Eve in another town

Gift certificate for a Christmas tree

An outdoor table and chairs set or picnic table

And when all else fails . . an invitation to your house for brunch!
