No matter what size wedding you are having, or the amount of your budget, you should always give a THANK YOU gift to the people who have helped you make your wedding day a memorable day . . your wedding party members and your parents. Here's a few things to keep in mind before you select a gift (a) You do NOT have to give each person the same gift, keep in mind their individual personalities and life styles. (b) Don't give a gift just for the sake of giving it (a token gift). A token gift shows no sincerity. (c) If you are giving different gifts, keep the individual gifts "in the same price or dollar range." (d) If you feel the Maid of Honor and/or the Best Man have gone "above and beyond the call of duty" then by all means give them a second gift or something very special. If possible, the gifts should be given to each person before the wedding but that does not mean they all have to be handed out at the Rehearsal Dinner. If you prefer presenting them to each person privately then make time to do that. A handwritten THANK YOU note should accompany each gift.
