Wedding Planning Step by Step

Couples need to apply for and sign the license together.

The license is valid for 60 days and there is a three-day waiting period to obtain it.

General health requirements or blood tests are not required.

If previously married, you must present a divorce decree and may be required to present a death certificate.

Some counties require knowledge of parents' residency and place of birth.

All county courthouses are open Monday through Friday.
